Final Fantasy Type-0 Online, the PC and mobile spiritual successor the to now-defunct Final Fantasy Agito, returns to the spotlight this week with news of a planned beta.

Starting later this month, fans in China can try out the game’s open beta with Japan, North America and Europe to follow at a later date. Final Fantasy Type-0 Online is being developed by Chinese game maker Perfect World and Square Enix is preparing a little something special for those who supported Agito.
