During Sony’s recent ‘State of Play’ broadcast, Square Enix showed off a familiar-looking trailer for Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind, an expansion DLC that will add a wealth of content to the base game including new story episodes and boss battles.

Alongside this showing, Square Enix also revealed an upcoming free patch update will release soon for Kingdom Hearts III, which will update its main story and add new gameplay content.

Below are the details for patch version 1.07:

• Main story update
• New abilities added
• Keyblades ‘Oathkeeper’ and ‘Oblivion’ + new formchanges added (in-game requirements to acquire the weapons)
• Expanded sharing features

And here is the list of content included in the Re Mind DLC package:

• Additional story: Re Mind
• ‘Limitcut’ episode and 13 boss battles
• Secret episode and boss battle
• ‘Data greeting’ feature
• Slideshow feature
• Premium menu
• Diverse difficulty settings and gameplay challenges

Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind is set to release for PlayStation 4 on January 23rd, 2020, and for Xbox One on February 25th, 2020 at $29.99 USD. A bundle including the DLC and ‘Concert Video’ is also available for pre-purchase at $39.99 USD.
