Outriders headed to Stadia in 2021, 'Journey into the Unknown' trailer

Publisher Square Enix and developer People Can Fly (Bulletstorm, Gears of War Judgment) plan to bring their new third-person shooter RPG Outriders to Google’s Stadia cloud gaming platform in 2021. It’s also headed to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, and PC this holiday.

The latest ‘Journey into the Unknown’ trailer sets up the mysterious planet of Enoch, which has warped its human colonizers with superhuman abilities. Four different classes are available to pick from, including the Pyromancer and Trickster, which use unique combat abilities to take down enemies. The game features a “World Tier” system, which will scale the difficulty based on how well you’re doing.

Recently, it was revealed that the game’s soundtrack would be composed by Inon Zur, known for scoring Dragon Age II, Fallout 4, and many other titles.
