Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier announced for mobile platforms By Erren Van Duine on February 25, 2021 at 6:00 PM

Joining a slew of Final Fantasy VII-related announcements today, Square Enix revealed a new action game in the series coming to iOS and Android devices in 2021.

Titled Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier, players can participate in a battle royale game set in Midgar thirty years before the events of Final Fantasy VII proper take place. As a candidate for SOLDIER, you’ll make use of a range of abilities for survival.
