Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin out now; opening movie previewed

After several demos and attention-grabbing media, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is now available for the masses. Square Enix and Team Ninja have put together a short launch trailer to celebrate, promising an action RPG that brings a new vision to the storied franchise.

A free demo is still available for download, and those who save their progress can transfer it over to the full game upon purchase. The demo allows players to explore Pravoka Seagrot and the Western Keep, experience new playstyles in battle with the addition of multiple new jobs that were not available in the previous two demos and fight against an array of new enemies. Players can also try out the game’s multiplayer function, allowing up to three people to play together and battle monsters as an online party.

Additionally, Square Enix put up the game’s opening movie – a CG spectacle that serves as a precursor to Jack, his allies and their journey to come.
