Valkyrie Elysium demo launches September 15

Valkyrie Elysium is the latest game to see a demo ahead of launch. Following various leaks, the demo will be available on PlayStation Network starting September 15. As with the current trends, the demo will allow you to transfer your progress to the full game upon release.

Covering the game’s first chapter, the demo contains a piece of the game taken from the retail version. Players can take control of the characteristic Einjerhar and combo systems, and experience the high-speed movement and high-tempo action using the soul chain. Music by the series’ creator, Motoi Sakuraba, can also be heard throughout.

While save data can be brought over to the completed version, Square Enix notes that you won’t be able to transfer said data between PS4 and PS5 and that some specifications may be restricted in the demo version.

Valkyrie Elysium launches for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 29. A PC version via Steam will release on November 11.
