In Final Fantasy XI‘s July 2023 update, which is available now, an epilogue has been added to The Voracious Resurgence scenario. This follow-up story shares what happened to the ‘Destiny Destroyers’ after the battle in the grand finale of the scenario. Producer and director Yoji Fujito shares that you’ll need some extra space in your inventory before you speak with each of the NPCs.

A technical update will let you decide whether to start some missions that are triggered automatically between areas of the game, such as the opening moments from A Crystalline Prophecy in Lower Jeuno, Fujito hopes that now that the entire game’s story is available that players will take the time to properly enjoy it.

In other content, Records of Eminence objectives have been swapped out, hand-in-hand with the Normal and Intense Ambuscade objectives and rewards.

Regarding concurrent events, the ‘Hot Vana’diel Nights Campaign‘ gets undwerway tomorrow, and the July 2023 Login Campaign features a ‘Magician’s Rod’ for 500 points.
