Paranormasight gets Steam Deck verified

Earlier this year Square Enix released Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. Today, it’s been verified as compatible with Valve’s Steam Deck portable console.

This means that when you launch the game, Valve states that all functionality is accessible when using the default controller configuration, controller icons match the console, the in-game interface text is legible, and the default graphics configuration performs well.

Received positively by fans, critics, and ourselves, the game is a supernatural adventure game set in 20th century Honjo, a neighborhood in Sumida City, Tokyo. Here, there are seven mysteries that revolve around a “Rite of Resurrection” and begs the question: “How far would you go to bring someone back from the dead?

It features several protagonists all afflicted with curses that also give them unique powers to attempt to solve aforementioned mysteries. During the day you’ll explore the city, solving puzzles and locating clues — but come nightfall, the protagonist will need to defend themselves from being hunted by other curse bearers.

Paranormasight features character design by Gen Kobayashi (The World Ends with You, NEO:The World Ends with You) and music by Hidenori Iwasaki (Chocobo GP, Left Alive, Front Mission series).
