The father of the SaGa series took to twitter today to announce that the remake of Romancing SaGa 2 (originially released only in Japan back in 1993) will be coming to PlayStation Vita and “some other consoles” in December — with a formal announcement from Square Enix to come soon.
Available in English for the first time, the remake debuted on iOS and Android in May, and included a wealth of new features. They include a new dungeon called “The Maze of Memory,” two new battle classes “Ninja” and “Diviner,” the “Avalonian Gardens” in which a tree grows that bestows imperial crowns, a New Game Plus mode, and an additional scenario called “Emerging Victorious.”
