Final Fantasy XI‘s “Voracious Resurgence” campaign is live today in the game’s May Update. Now in it’s fourth chapter, players will travel to Bastok where conflict with the empire is growing. Ambuscade has also been updated with new enemies and several jobs have been adjusted.
“A tense conflict begins to coalesce in Bastok
Will the young girl’s words fall upon deaf ears?
At the same time, across the ocean in Aht Urhgan,
a fearsome threat rears its ugly head.”
Cornelia is a cheerful young girl always looking out for the Galka Gumbah and Raebrimm. Behind her smile lies heartbreak over her constant feuding with her father. Naja is the leader of the mercenary company ‘Salaheem’s Sentinels’. Always on the lookout for ways to expand her purse, she desires to expand her company’s reach across Vana’diel. Raubahn is captain of the Immortals in Aht Urhgan and a storied blue mage. No matter how many years pass and how many comrades he loses, his expression remains unchanging.
This month’s update to Ambuscade features a new challenge featuring Flies, and the return of Mamool Ja. Adjustments to Paladin where Reprisal will no longer fade even if the damage reflection cap has been exceeded. Ranger has a new ability called Hover Shot, and Decoy Shot has been adjusted to gradually lower enmity over time.
Final Fantasy XI is now available on Windows PC.
