Starting Friday, July 9th and continuing through Monday, August 23rd, Final Fantasy XIV‘s Free Login Campaign will allow lapsed players to log in and play for a two-week period free of charge. For those looking for an excuse to get caught up before the Endwalker expansion in November, now is an opportune time to do so.
To participate, you must have previously purchased Final Fantasy XIV and have had your subscription status in “Inactive” status for at least 30 days. Once you log back in, you will have a 2-week (14-day) timer kick in. When it expires on the 14th day you will no longer able to play unless your renew your subscription.
In recent news, the development team has released a benchmark trailer, with the actual benchmark arriving Sunday, July 11th at midnight (Pacific Standard Time.) The most recent Letter from the Producer Live broadcast ran down a recap of features to be added in the Endwalker expansion, as well as a chat with NieR Automata creators YOKOTARO and Yosuke Saito regarding the recent collaboration: YoRHa Dark Apocalypse.
