Final Fantasy XV‘s PS4 Pro version is largely a mystery. Despite press impressions from press behind closed doors, Square Enix has yet to officially detail what we can expect.
During an Active Time Report at TGS, director Tabata shared some comments on Sony’s new hardware. First and foremost, they’re certainly aware of the power of the PS4 Pro but it takes time to fine-tune for the new console. As the Pro will be out before FFXV, however, the game will support the system at launch on November 29.
For those on the standard PS4, rest assured. Tabata says the team is still working to push the original PS4 version to be the best that it can. One of the things they’ve already improved, for example, are the trees that can be seen in the distance.
