Final Fantasy XV’s mobile MMO still in development, developers revealed & features teased
(Image: Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition) In 2020, Square Enix will partner with studios JSC and GAEA to develop a new mobile MMORPG based on the world of Final Fantasy XV. Shanghai Oriental Pearl will be publishing in China, where the game will release first. According to a report from Enduins, the game will be set in a parallel universe to the console game and feature expansive multiplayer features. The interface will be adapted for touchscreen control, and new locales such as "The Great Pagoda" and "floating continents" will be added to expand the story and world. Originally announced in 2017 and set for a 2019 release date, industry analyst Daniel Ahmad added that the project has grown in scope and an extra development studio has been brought in for a planned global release. Final Fantasy XV is available now on Google Stadia
Stadia, a cloud gaming service provided by Google, released today, and alongside it launched its own version of the action RPG title Final Fantasy XV. According to the official website, “not only does it support Vulkan on Luminous Engine” but it's also “optimized for a streaming environment” to provide comfortable gameplay. You can check out the short launch trailer below. The Stadia version of Final Fantasy XV will come with the base game and will include the eight downloadable content packs, a multitude of items and all the free updates that had been released on the console iterations of the game. Additionally, a new minigame mode titled “Crazy Challenge” was added, seemingly exclusive for the Stadia at this moment in time. Final Fantasy XV: The Dawn of the Future novel to release in English next year
Final Fantasy XV: The Dawn of the Future, a collection of stories based on the canceled DLC packs for Final Fantasy XV, has finally received an official English release date, announced Square Enix on the official Twitter account for Final Fantasy XV. Scheduled to release on June 23, 2020 The Dawn of the Future will be a hardcover collector’s volume and will include the stories for Episode Ardyn, Episode Aranea, Episode Lunafreya and Episode Noctis alongside over 50 pages worth of full-color images and concept art. The novel is being published by Square Enix and Penguin Random House Publisher Services (PRHPS), a multi-year sales and distribution agreement to introduce a new line of English translated manga, novels and artbooks.

The Truth of the Lucii – Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn DLC now available
The next and final paid DLC for Final Fantasy XV is now available for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam(PC). Episode Ardyn puts players in control of the game’s antagonist to uncover the truth behind his mysterious and dark past. You can check out the official launch trailer below. This DLC also has a tie-in animated short which elaborates on Ardyn's life before his inevitable fall. You can watch the animated short here. Final Fantasy XV’s final Active Time Report will air March 26th
The final Active Time Report broadcast for Final Fantasy XV-related announcements will air on Tuesday, March 26th at 7:00am Eastern Daylight Time. This episode will focus on the upcoming DLC 'Episode Ardyn', which puts us in the shoes of the game's antagonist Ardyn Izunia. It will be the last paid DLC episode in Final Fantasy XV's roadmap, after Episode Aranea, Lunafreya, and Noctis were abrupty cancelled last year. Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn arrives March 26th, Prologue animated film online
Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn, set to be the final DLC episode for its mothership game, will arrive on March 26th, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Following the game's antagonist, Ardyn Izunia, we learn about the chancellor of Niflheim's mysterious past and what events transpired in Eos's early history. A short animated film serves the episode's prologue, which you can watch below, alongside a Q&A session with Director Takefumi Terada, Producer Yuji Shinoda and Scenario Director Toru Osanai regarding the development of Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn Prologue. While other DLC episodes were abruptly canceled last year, Square Enix has announced a novel called "The Dawn of the Future" that will encapsulate the events that were set to appear in Episode Ardyn, Episode Aranea, Episode Luna, and Episode Noctis. It's set to release on April 25th, 2019. Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn Prologue to premiere at Katsucon 2019
The Official Twitter account for Final Fantasy XV has announced that the Episode Ardyn Prologue animation will be premiering at Katsucon 2019; a three-day anime convention held in the D.C. metro area. Fans can attend the premiere on Saturday, February 16th, in the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center. Viewing will be held in Video Room 1 at 3:00pm EST. (12:00pm PST) Episode Ardyn Prologue will reveal the events surrounding Ardyn's dark and distant past, and what it was that ultimately led him down a path of revenge.
