Final Fantasy VII Remake worldwide sales passes 3.5 million in three days

Square Enix has revealed cumulative shipment and digtal sales for Final Fantasy VII Remake have surpassed 3.5 million units worldwide. This figure accounts for all sales that have been made within the three days following its April 10 release.

In related news, Famitsu reports the game has sold over one million units in Japan. Of that amount, 702,853 copies were physically sold which MCV/DEVELOP describes as ‘well-received’ despite the closing of many retail stores in the country caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
