At Final Fantasy XIV‘s Fan Festival in London, the team shared an update about the upcoming Fall Guys collaboration coming to the game. Developed with the Mediatonic team it will be a cycling event that will be available for a limited time and will return at later periods. The first run will be available in-game on October 31st alongside Patch 6.51.

Fall Guys is an online multiplayer game where players compete in various creative obstacle courses that require elements of platforming (and luck) to succeed. Given some of the Gold Saucer’s existing challenges, such as the Leap of Faith or Anywhere the Wind Blows, the Fall Guys collaboration feels like a natural, albeit odd fit.

The events will also feature a “great deal of unique prizes.”
