Square Enix is bringing just a handful of titles to PAX East this year, highlighted by several instances of Final Fantasy.
At their booth, the company will be bringing along playable versions of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and Life is Strange. FFXIV in particular will see the return of the Battle Challenge, featuring the Lady of the Frost, Shiva. There fans will have a chance to win the exclusive “I Beat Shiva” t-shirt.
Additionally, Square Enix has made plans for several panels this year including behind the scenes looks at Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XV, Life is Strange and Just Cause 3. Both Final Fantasy events will be livestreamed online as well, so if you were worried about missing them it seems you won’t have to worry. Read on for the full schedule:

Behind the Game Designs of FINAL FANTASY XV
Join two of FINAL FANTASY XV’s lead game designers, Wan Hazmer and Prasert Prasertvithyakarn, as they share their experiences working on one of the most anticipated games of all time. Hazmer and Prasertvithyakarn are attending PAX EAST from SQUARE ENIX’s Tokyo Studios where they work in tandem to bring FINAL FANTASY XV to life. Fans will also be in for a treat with additional information revealed on the upcoming title, FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD!

What If? An Insider’s Look at Life is Strange.
Join moderator Jessica Chobot (host of Nerdist News) and the lead developers of Life is Strange to hear the key choices they made during development. We’ll also lift the curtain on what you can expect from Episode 2 and give you an exclusive first look at some of the new areas you’ll explore and some key characters you’ll meet along the way.
