Where to unlock new content and features in Final Fantasy XIV 6.25

An interstitial patch to follow Final Fantasy XIV‘s Buried Memory’ update goes live Tuesday, October 18th. Patch 6.25 features new content and features that we’ve summarized below — including where to unlock them. Note that some items are marked for Patch 6.28, which is planned to release roughly around a month after 6.25.

While you’re here, we’ve got details on the return of All Saints’ Wake seasonal event set to go live August 19th. The development team also confirmed that implementation of a new North American data center ‘Dynamis’ will proceed on November 1.

Tribal Quests:

The Omicron

Unlock:
The Café at the End of the Universe
— Speak to Jammingway @ Ultima Thule (X:25.4 Y:26.3)
— Requires Level 90
— Players must first complete the quest “Where No Loporrit Has Gone Before.”

The recently established Last Dregs may yet lack much one expects of a café─a recognizable logogram, little jars of creamer, patrons─but Omicron N-7000 and not-Omicron Jammingway persevere. These unlikely partners in coffee are determined to brew fresh hope until Ultima Thule brimmeth over!

Side Story Quests:

Somehow Further

Hildibrand Adventures

Unlock:
Lunar Conspiracy
— Speak to Nashu Mhakaracca @ Radz-at-Han (X:11.8 Y:11.2)
— Requires Level 90
— Players must first complete the quest “A Soulful Reunion.”

No sooner has the inimitable Inspector Hildibrand managed his safe return to the Source than is he abducted by a flying object best described as “unidentified.”

Whisked up and away into the stars, Hildibrand’s next riveting case promises to be literally out of this world!

Weapon Enhancement Quests:

Manderville Weapons

Unlock:
Make It a Manderville
— Requires Level 90
— Players must first complete the quest “The Imperfect Gentleman.”

Patch 6.25 introduces a new series of weapon enhancements with the beginning of the Manderville weaponry saga, set to continue throughout 6.x. The events of the latest Hildibrand quests will drop you headfirst into the story surrounding these historically significant and astronomically magnificent armaments!

Variant Dungeon:

The Sil’dihn Subterrane

A Key to the Past
— Shallow Moor @ Old Sharlayan (X:12.0 Y:13.3)
— Requires Level 90
— Players must first complete the main scenario quest “Endwalker,” and have also spoken with the NPC Osmon in Old Sharlayan (X:11.9 Y:13.3).

Unlock (Savage):

— After completing Another Sil’dihn Subterrane

A request from a certain someone in Ul’dah has you packing your adventuring gear, and descending once more into the underground waterways of Sil’dih.

Whereas variant dungeons are casual, story-based experiences which can be completed by solo players, criterion dungeons will challenge a party of four adventurers with battles of punishing difficulty.

Criterion dungeons are available in two difficulty levels, and impose unique rules and restrictions─such as limiting character resurrections. Assemble a band of trustworthy comrades to overcome every obstacle and explore every corner of the subterrane!
