Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades Closed Beta detailed
Information about Final Fantasy XV's multiplayer expansion Comrades was just published online detailing a closed beta that will be happening in August. In order to participate in the beta, you need to have purchased the Season Pass. In addition a membership for either PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live is also required in order to participate in the beta. The beta will begin on August 2nd and end on August 8th. You will be able to create up to 8 avatars in the beta, all who which will be able to be customized to a limited degree while in this beta phase. There will only be a test version base camp to start at which will put you through a tutorial. Players will have access to katanas, clubs, daggers, and shuriken weapons. There are also "Royal Sigils" which can be obtained. There are 3 quests which can be tested which reward Meteorshards which will have a purpose in the final game. Each player can get one ingredient towards a meal to share with the party afterwards. As well as cooking meals, you can chat with your party members via preset chat messages as well as voice chat. Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood Launch Trailer
The launch trailer for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XIV expansion Stormblood has just dropped over on YouTube. This expansion takes place after the events that took place in the last story patch of the current expansion Heavensward where we are setting our sights on two new areas, Ala Mhigo and Doma, to liberate these cities from the Garlean Empire. Dragon Quest XI details character updates and a new village
The official site for Dragon Quest XI has updated yet again, this time updating details on two of the game's characters, Senya and Veronica. Along with this, this update includes detailing a location in the game known as "Homura Village". As always, we got the full rundown right here for you. Characters This time around we got more information on the characters Senya and Veronica. Senya A healer who supports the party with her recovery spells. While a gentle and kind-hearted person, she can often times be unreliable and tends to drag Veronica in with her to work together. Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood Job Gauges detailed
Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood introduces a new UI element for each of the playable jobs in the game called Job Gauges. These gauges are graphical representations of various elements integral to how a job is played. We've got a rundown of each of the job gauges and how they work. Before we begin, please note that we got our hands on Stormblood while it's still in development. Everything here is still subject to change. Paladin Oath Gauge The yellow colored gauge indicates the defensive stance Shield Oath is in effect. Shield Oath reduces damage taken while reducing damage dealt and increasing enmity. The blue colored gauge indicates the offensive stance Sword Oath is in effect, dealing additional damage after each auto-attack. The Oath Gauge displays the current strength of a paladin's Sword or Shield Oath. A strong oath is required to execute several select actions such as Shelton (acquired at level 52) and Intervention (acquired at level 62), and will grow weaker upon using them. A Sword Oath grows stronger each time an auto-attack lands, a Shield Oath stronger each time an attack is blocked. Yet another update on the official Dragon Quest XI website details a new system called "Mysterious Smithing". Mysterious Smithing Create equipment with your own hands through the use of "Mysterious Smithing". You can create powerful equipment or strengthen existing equipment. First, we'll gather up recipes and materials! Try your hand at Mysterious Smithing back at camp! Finish up and get your equipment! Attempt to use "Restrike Gems" to strengthen your existing equipment You can get "Restrike Gems" by successfully crafting your own equipment. Even if you fail at the enhancement, you will never lose your equipment, so feel free to try again. Your equipment will grow stronger if you succeed. When you get a "Good Response" you'll be closer to success! Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time is set to release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS on July 29 in Japan. Exdeath joins the DISSIDIA roster
All you tree fans are in for a treat today. Main antagonist of Final Fantasy V, Exdeath, joins the roster in Dissidia Final Fantasy. Exdeath in his menacing baby blue armor pulls a sword out of the void to combat his opponents, along with his proficient use of magic. New screenshots and details of Dragon Quest XI’s battle system
The official website for Dragon Quest XI has updated to reveal more information as well as screenshots for new information on the battle system as well as two new characters. This information was recently announced in the Weekly Shonen Jump which you can check out over here. Battle System In Dragon Quest XI you can choose between two battle styles on both the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo 3DS. The PlayStation 4 version offers you two battle styles to pick from: Freeform movement of your camera and characters, or the automatic mode with traditional cinematic flare. The Nintendo 3DS version you can switch between a "3D Mode" to enjoy battle with lively moving monsters, or the "2D Mode" and fight with nostalgic pixel art.
