Following May's release of Patch 6.4 The Dark Throne, an interstitial patch for Final Fantasy XIV is slated to arrive on Tuesday, July 18th. This patch will include the grand opening of a new variant dungeon Mount Rokkon and it's harder difficulty counterparts, including a 'Savage' level difficulty.
The Blue Mage limited job will also get a sizable update that includes a new level cap set at 80, new quests, spells, rewards, and more, including content featured in the Shadowbringers expansion. Sidequests that involve strengthening weapons and tools will be added.
Addtionally, Square Enix has announced that the next Letter from the Producer Live broadcast will take place at the Las Vegas Fan Festival on Saturday, July 29th. This live letter will be the first of a two-part preview into the final major patch following Endwalker: 6.5. The day before on July 28th, the keynote address is expected to reveal the next major expansion for the game, referred as 7.0 pending a formal announcement and title.
